Morphologic diagnosis:
Ventricular muscle: Moderate multifocal necrosis and degeneration
Clinical description:
Muscular dystrophy lesions can also occur in smooth muscles. Here, numerous pale white lesions are seen throughout the smooth muscles of the wall of the gizzard.
Pathologic description:
The muscular wall of the ventriculus contains numerous variably size well demarcated white lesions.
