Clinical description:
In Mycoplasma gallisepticum infections, the fibrinous inflammation surrounding the heart, lungs, and liver may become so extensive that it extends into the surrounding coelomic cavity. In the MG infected bird on the bottom of this photo, the inner breast muscle covering the heart and lungs is covered in fibrin.
